The Black River is one of our most popular paddling destinations. The river has sufficient water for paddling even in droughts and runs through land that is largely undisturbed forest.
Black River – begins 14 miles south of Clinton. The Black River forms at the confluence of Six Runs Creek and the Great Coharie Creek near the historic town of Lisbon.
