Meet Ray. He is the proud owner of the ever-growing Terra Cottage Farm Nursery.
Ray has been a landscape contractor for over 35 years in the Wilmington area and now services Sampson County and surrounding areas. He holds degrees in Soil Microbiology, Agricultural Research Science, Horticultural Sciences, Arboricultural Sciences, and has a background in Entomology, Design, Drafting, and Engineering, to name a few. To say he is creative and detail oriented would be a gross understatement.
He prides himself on educating his clients, listening to their goals, aspirations, desires and needs. While paying attention to the small details, he has a sincere passion for the end results.
When not working, which is rare, Ray enjoys fishing, boating, hunting, and of course, spending time with his army of pets.
Stop in and meet Ray, he has a wealth of knowledge and is often referred to as the “walking encyclopedia”.
Terra Cotta Farm Nursery has over 80 different varieties of Azaleas to choose from. Step into their world of Evergreen Trees, Small Evergreens and dwarf evergreens. They have many perennials and ground covers to choose from. And you must try their jams, jellies and preserves. DELICIOUS!!!
